Lovely This a beautiful piece of gemstone jewelry. I bought this for my mother and she loves it. The stone is very, very dark. It looks almost black, but a deep midnight sapphire is what I wanted. The white sapphires require a regular cleaning to maintain their sparkle, but overall a very good value. February 2, 2013
Beutiful, but a little thin My fiance bough this for me as a birthday gift. I love the way it looks, the stones shine and it looks beautiful. It looks even better on your finger too. After you get it on there is only one complaint, the band feels quite thin. I am used to a band with substance, this one is dainty and feminine. It is not bad, just not what I am accustomed to. Perfect Promise Ring! I love this ring. My boyfriend gave it it me about a year and a half ago on Christmas. It was perfect and just what I expected. The stone is a very deep blue, almost black, but in the right light you can see the true beauty. You need to clean it often though if you wear it daily and the dirt will build up under the white sapphire. June 20, 2012
Where is the rest of the band?! Like the earlier reviewer, I purchased this ring for my wife to celebrate the birth of our daughter. It took a lot of time to find a design that I liked. Online, this ring looked perfect. I know that the price is relatively low, but I attributed that to the use of 10K vs 18K gold. When the box arrived, I was surprised by the poor packaging, but said "okay, obviously Zales does not ship much." I opened the ring box and the ring looked beautiful, just like I was expecting. However, when I removed the ring from the box, I was greatly dismayed at how thin and small (width) the bottom part of the ring band was. The bottom of the band looks like it is half the width of the side of the band and 1/4 of the thickness. My wife's reactions was the same as mine, she loves the ring, but asked why was the bottom of the band so thin and small. After such a long search period, I decided to keep the ring (the sapphires are beautiful), but I am disappointed and cannot recommend this ring to others. December 21, 2011
