Perfect and so me! I fell in love with black diamonds the first time I ever saw them and I really wanted them for my engagement ring. I had read the reviews that the ring was small so I was a bit nervous because I have chunky fingers (see photos)... It fits my hand beautifully! For the price, you really can't beat it. I didn't want anything huge on my hand because I work with my hands a lot and have a constant fear of smashing my rings into a wall or something and a stone popping out. I got it in the standard size 7 and upped the size to an 11 to fit on my ring finger. It cost an extra 165.00 to add the half shank but hey, we got the price on sale with 50.00 off so I guess that was the difference :). April 2, 2013
SHE SAID YES!!!!! I was looking for the perfect ring to ask my girlfriend of 10 years to marry me with. This ring was exactly the non traditional ring that I knew was perfect for her. She was floored and absolutely LOVES this ring. I have nothing but good things to say about it and recommend this to others to buy. She is the envy of many of her friends and NO ONE else has one like it. Just an FYI, she does have small hands, and I got her a 6 and its too big on her finger. Engagement Ring Upgrade My fiance had proposed 3 years ago and on a whim I was browsing rings on Zales.com and saw this ring that was now available that was not something I had a chance to show him 3 years ago when I was dropping hints. I love the 3 stone designs but I wanted something different and the black diamonds are just so unique. I showed him the ring and he joked about upgrading. I asked him if he was serious and he told me that "We'll have to see." Well low and behold a couple months later he surprises me with this ring just after celebrating 7 years together. I had to get it sized to a 4.25 because I have tiny hands and this ring is a perfect size for me. I know other people had said it was too small, but if you have small dainty hands and you don't want something gaudy and huge then this ring is perfect. I love this ring and now we've gotta decide what we want to do with my first engagement ring. I'm thinking of using the diamonds for my wedding band. September 16, 2012
1st Time Was Not The Charm This was my original engagement ring. My now fiance proposed to me with this ring on the beach and it was so romantic. I loved the ring so much and was so excited, it was just what I wanted. Sadly I wore it for 4 days and the prong broke off, we sent it in to get fixed and a week and a half later my fiance went to go pick it up. He brought it back home and when I saw it I immediately saw that the black prongs had started chipping off. Although I loved this ring and it was beautiful, I did not want to take a chance on getting it fixed and every day wear and tear making the prongs chip again and it needing more fixing and every black diamond ring has the black prongs so we opted to swap rings and get a different ring all together that did not have the black prongs. I am pleased with the help the associates gave us, they made it stress free for us and I am very happy with how everything worked out. It was a good experience although stressful at times. Now we can relax and enjoy being engaged. May 31, 2012
