Awesome gift! I had the 1/3 CT celebration earrings on my wish list, but when my husband and I went to the mall; we stopped by zales and he bought these 1/2 CT earrings for me right then! They are beautiful. Mine are G SI1 and wow do they sparkle. Anything smaller would not show as much brilliance (epsecially from across the room) this is the perfect eye catching size. A just because gift All of my jewelry comes from Zales. I had been looking at these earrings every time I went into the store for miscellaneous purchases or to get jewelry cleaned. One evening when I was getting my wedding ring cleaned, my husband told them to wrap them up for me. No special occasion, just because. I was so excited because he got the next step up from what I thought I'd eventually be able to get and I wore them right out of the store that night. The size is perfect in my ear. Anything larger would look too gaudy. I absolutely love these earrings. I especially like that they have screw backs so I don't have to worry about losing them. A down side is that every now and then you have to have them redone because the fragile little posts get worn out. Also, I didn't realize until after the purchase that the posts to one of them was not aligned properly so it doesn't look straight when it's in my ear. I plan on seeing what they can do to correct it at my six month visit. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that loves diamonds. Absolutely gorgeous and they sparkle beautifully. No matter what the occasion, these earrings will go with anything. June 14, 2010
