1 CT. T.W. Diamond Three Stone Framed Engagement Ring in 14K White Gold
I love my ring, but you should know...
First, I'd like to say that I love the style of my ring. It has an antique/vintage feel that I think is very unique. However, I would like to be honest about my experience with it in hopes of helping any fellow brides make a decision before purchasing. There are two issues that I wish I would have known ahead of time.
The quality of the main stone is rather poor. There is a large inclusion/crack that cuts through the inside of the stone that is very visible to the eye. The clarity is listed in the product specifications but I was not experienced enough to know what I1-I2 actually looked like.
The second issue is that I wear a size 5.5. We ordered a 6 (the smallest Zales offered) and had it sized down a touch to fit. This was a HUGE mistake. I have since learned that pave set stones (all the little tiny ones side by side) CAN AND DO EASILY FALL OUT after the ring is sized. They are not held in very securely to begin with so when a ring is "bent" during sizing, the tiny prongs open up and the tiny stones easily fall out during normal everyday wear. It has only been 6 months and 10 stones have fallen out. It breaks my heart every time I look down and see more holes in my ring. (Replacing stones is not cheap!) I should have had it tightened using sizing balls but I had never heard of this technique before.
A jeweler told me that this ring, due the overall quality, would be valued in the low hundreds, not thousands.
That being said, I am sentimental and I love the look of the ring. It is the ring my (now) husband chose and I wouldn't change that. We will have to replace all of the lost little diamonds and once that is done, we will HAVE to purchase insurance or some kind of warranty to cover all of the future fall outs that will continue to happen. And I hope to one day replace the center stone with a clear one (anniversary gift??). So overall, buyer brides beware. It is beautiful from a distance. But be prepared for what I2 diamonds look like and DO NOT get it sized down. Purchase a warranty ASAP. And although I was worried about finding a band to match, I found a beautiful curved band at a different jewelry chain store. Congrats to all my fellow brides/grooms and happy ring hunting :)

I said yes!
It started with me and my suitemates looking online for engagment rings. Then we ended up in the stores trying on rings, as an proposal was in my future, or atleast I hoped! Then black friday came this past year and my fiancee randomly asked me my opinions on three different rings! It was not till he proposed in December that I saw it for the first time but the online pictures do not do it justice and its not even in the stores. I guess he just had a good feeling about it :) It looks perfect on my small hand and has a gorgeous setting with a vintage look. You will not be disappointed!

The perfect ring to share the story of our love
My fiance and I were high school sweethearts that parted ways when I left for college and he the military. We reconnected 20 years later and rekindled our love. We wanted a special 3 stone ring for our engagement since we share a long history (past, present, future). I did not want the traditional boring 3 stone ring and we searched for months and months for something so unique. This ring was just perfect--it is the story of our love! We bought a contour pave wedding band to go with it and together it is beyond BEAUTIFUL! We ordered it on-line and it is so much more in person. I cry everytime I look at it and I get so many compliments! Wow is all I can say about this ring. It leaves me breathless and speechless. I feel like the Queen of the ball.

Picture does not do it justice
Lovely ring, picture does not show how delicate and sparkley all the little stones are. Purchased online sight unseen and was a little nervious about it but pleasantly surprised when I received it. Great size for small hands; not too overwheming but very BLING!
Purchased on clearance but was still expensive so I will be purchasing the warranty.
