Very good gift purchased this item for Christmas in 2009 for my girlfriend. Was an amazing shock on how brilliant they pull off in the right lighting. girlfriends mother was surprised by the screw in back and had to spread the word to everyone about her daughters gift. my girlfriend has taken them out few times to clean them. left them in all the time and always felt fine with the 18k gold for allergy reasons. typically even with 14k she was mildly irritated.
