It's SUPPOSED to be able to break...
I am purchasing this for my fiancee's wedding band-part of the appeal is that 1.) It doesn't scratch and 2.) It's SUPPOSED to be able to break! I know some other reviewers have complained of this, but that is part of the appeal for us. He works with construction equipment, and if (heaven forbid!) his hand should get caught in a piece of machinery, the ring will break and fall off. A gold ring or other metal would just bend and clamp off his circulation, potentially destroying and necessitating the amputation of his finger. Rings can be replaced-fingers cannot!

JUNK!
At first I loved the appearance of white gold with the proclaimed outstanding durability so I purchased this wedding band over a year ago. This ring has been replaced twice once for severe discoloration and once because it broke into two pieces. It has discolored again so I'm going to try to get store credit for the ring and just purchase a white gold ring.

My Husband loves it
I got this for my husband for his birthday. He loved it. It was a little to big, it was really easy to return to the store and reorder the correct size.

He loved it but...
I bought this ring for my fiance about four years ago. He loved this ring because he works a lot with his hands and uses a lot of tools and such and the ring would not scratch. But this morning, he dropped it on the tile, and it broke into two peices. We did not think it would be possible for this ring to break but he must have dropped it perfectly. I could even hear him drop it from downstairs because the ring is so heavy.
I love Zales and my fiance does not shop anywhere else for jewlery and their jewlery is generally great quality. But buy in-store so you can at least get the product warrenty too.
