Beautiful little ring! This is a beautiful little ring reminiscent of the art deco era with the engraving and detailing on the band and the illusion head top. The collar of diamonds around the center stone sets this ring apart. It is not an overpowering or gaudy ring, but a very pretty, dainty ring tastefully done. My jeweler said at some point in the future I could replace the illusion head with a full size diamond if I wanted to, but I like the illusion head since it reminds me of the old, antique rings of the 1920's. So close but so far The ring is unique but the tiny diamonds do more to take away from the setting. I showed this ring to my sister. She felt the style had real wow factor and never seen anything like it in person. I tried to get a jeweler to customize it but couldn't find anyone who would do it. larger diamond would of done this ring wonders. This was going to be a gift for my girlfriend but looked too cheap. Better for a young girl in her teenage years. The antique style is very nice. the diamonds and cuts would catch the light but no real presence in the ring other than noticing how unique it is August 26, 2011
The perfect gift All started kind of funny... i decided to buy a promise ring for my girlfriend and Zales was there for me... i saw the online catalog and i decided for a ring but i wanted to see the store inventory ... i went there i spoke with the sale person and i decided to buy the ring online but with delivery in the store (to be sure that the mailing company delivers it safely)... i made the "mistake" of telling my girlfriend about the ring and also show her pictures of it... her eyes had a sparkle that i never forget... when the delivery came i was in shock ...IT WAS A DIFFERENT RING :(((((... the sale person was kind enough to offer me a big discount for another ring ...to replace the original one... this second ring was more expensive and the diamonds bigger... i prepared my girlfriend for the NEWS and i showed it to her... even that the value was bigger and the diamonds more expensive my girlfriend didn`t like it... i was in shock again... I FAILED!!!!!!!!! i went back and i ordered the same ring again and after a week came not one but two rings... :))))))))))))))))))))))))))) a good one and a wrong one!!!!!!!!!!!!! in the end my girlfriend got the right ring and i saw the look in her eyes... PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she is so happy now and is showing the ring to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!! so in the end i can tell it worth buy it and i recommend to all the mens out there that wants to make a special gift... a ring must have personality not a price tag attached to it to be a great gift!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
