Oval Morganite and 1/10 CT. T.W. Diamond Ring in 10K Rose Gold
My husband picked this ring out for me and took me to the store to try it on and purchase it for a holiday gift. It is absolutely beautiful and looks better in person than in the photo. It is was the largest morganite stone in the case. The setting, accent diamonds, and stone are all high quality. The discount we received from the sale and for a phone survey coupon made this ring very affordable. Since wearing the ring, I have received many complements. Even women at the cash register have stopped me to admire it and ask what kind of stone it is. The listed stone measurements are accurate, 8x10mm. The 16 accent diamonds are about 1mm each. A common household item that gives you some kind of size comparison is a standard large paper clip. The stone is exactly the size and shape of the wide end of the paperclip. The band is about 2.5mm wide on the side and tapers down to 2.0mm on the bottom. It is very sturdy, and since the accident stones are tiered, it is very hard to scratch or snag them on something. The rose gold metal complements the pink morganite stone color. The stone changes color in the light. Sometimes it appears golden in direct sunlight, and light pink indoors. The stone is not translucent, and when looking straight down on it you see clear pink colors, not the bottom of the stone or the color of your flesh like some other light colored gems. The stone sparkles and reflects light, and you can see many prisms inside the stone. The four prong setting draws attention to the beauty of the stone, and makes it appear almost naked. The crowning accent diamonds that tier off the stone are a great design, as they add a little more sparkle but don't distract from the magnificence of the stone. Over all this is a beautiful ring, I am so happy with it. It will be a meaningful keepsake forever.
