Beautiful ring. I ordered this ring and a matching band to replace a much larger/more expensive ring I had to sell about a year ago. Since this was not our first ring (or second for that matter) value was important to me. My mother is a certified GIA gemologist, so I know to expect from chain stores like Zales in terms of quality. I first want to say to the other reviewer that don't expect flawless/colorless diamonds from chain stores. With that being said this ring is quite pretty. I am allergic to white gold, so I have always used yellow gold for jewelry. This ring has allowed me to have the white gold look with out the rash so thank you Zales. My personal opinion is just by looking at the ring, you cannot tell that it isn't white gold. There was no cloudiness to my diamonds (and I have a jewelers loop) and they sparkle quite nicely. With that being said I do have some suggestions. Offer this in Half sizes and quarter sizes!!! You cannot resize this (Zales tells you that) so be sure that the 7 is your size. I am probably a 6.5 or in between really, so mine is a hair looser then I want, but it is too close to use a ring guard. Also, I would like to see more rings made out of platinaire. I am already eye balling an infinite ring which will match nicely, but I would have prefer a little bigger stones in my ring. I am not complaining though, its simple and doesn't look like a piece of glitter so I am happy. I hope that Zales does more stuff in platinaire, maybe some ear rings in time for mothers day! =) Bottom line if you have a white gold allergy, or are on a budget, order the ring! Go to the store with the product # and they can order it for you before you buy it if money is an issue. Zales customer service is superb. I will upload a picture, that may help some of you. Not What I Expected Customer service was excel. Ring / diamond condition was extremely poor.. And was missing a diamond upon delivery. I am glad I didn't propose to my fiancé with this ring. I plan to return it and because I was pleased with their customer service I will however continue purchasing from Zales. February 3, 2013
