Gift for my niece My niece is going to be my personal assistant on the day of my wedding, so I wanted to get her something special even though she isn't technically a bridesmaid or junior bridesmaid. Sapphire is her birthstone, and this necklace fit the bill perfectly. Additionally, it was on sale at the time of my purchase, so that sealed my decision. I was so pleased when I received my order, I wanted to keep it for myself! The graduated stones are larger at the bottom of the heart giving it a unique look. The heart itself isn't too small or large... just the right size for practically anyone. It's delicate without looking dinky if that makes sense. I also love that the chain is connected on the back of the heart so that there is no visible link. I think it's more elegant and classic this way. I can't wait to give this to my niece.... it's the nicest piece of jewelry she will own to date at just 11 years old. I hope she loves it as much as I do! February 21, 2013
