1/4 CT. T.W. Enhanced Blue and White Diamond Three Stone Slant Ring in 10K White Gold
My fiance (then boyfriend) and I were discussing rings; he wanted to be sure I got something I was sure to like. I'm not the princess-cut solitaire type of girl, and I think it is irresponsible to spend thousands on a ring. The blue diamonds are a wonderful, unique look. I have received nothing but compliments; everyone says, "It is perfect for you," "It suits you, etc."
My father commented to my mother (out of my earshot) that it is small. It IS small, but I am a small person with small hands (ring size 5) and I don't want something huge and gaudy. I like that the setting for is low-profile; it does not snag on clothing or hair, and I haven't scratched myself in my sleep with it.
Only thing that is odd about MY ring is that the blue diamonds are not all the same blue. The left-most diamond is a lighter blue than the other two. This may be an issue unique to my ring, and it doesn't mean that all of them are like this. If that one was in the center, it would make more sense; I might see if it can be reset with that one in the middle and the darker ones on the sides. In sunlight and with a camera flash, it is difficult to notice (and it is also more brilliant) but in artificial, fluorescent light it is more noticeable (to me--but I wear it constantly).
I am a true ring size 5. I ordered a 5 and it is loose at times, but not loose enough, I don't think, to size down to 4.5 (your hands shrink and swell over the course of the day depending on if you're using them, the weather, your blood circulation, etc). I sometimes have to move it because it slides around. Nothing that cannot be fixed by an inexpensive spacer.
