Overall a great gift Bought this charm for my girlfriend as the smaller of 2 gifts and was happy with my purchase. It is on the smaller size but probably better since it is going to be attached to her charm bracelet. At first glance, it is a great eye catcher. The sterling silver is brilliant and the blue topaz is a nice touch but not over the top. It is not as sharp as in the picture, but then again, they never are. The 14K gold is not nearly as prominent in real life as I had expected and is the only downside I saw to this charm. I haven't given it to her yet, but I'm sure she will love it and it is definitely a nice gift to give. Overall I'd give it a 4/5 with the only problem being the gold is not very noticeable at all. Still, the sharp gleam from the sterling silver would definitely draw attention and make this piece a great gift with a little color from the topaz to make it stand out.
