A Big letdown. These earrings are big stones.....big LAB created stones. Make sure your okay with lab created stones before you buy. My spouse was so proud to come home with this gift. He paid a pretty good penny thinking he had REAL sapphires, not crystals grown in a lab. The stones look like light blue swavorski crystals, which are pretty but not $200 bucks worth of pretty. The back's are white gold but so little it does nothing to enhance the setting of the gemstone. The post are strong and the backs have a little notch to keep from losing the earring, which I like. I would probably like them much more if the stones did not look so much like pieces of blue glass. I litterally mean a blue glass bottle. Strange to look at them and hard to describe the weird fakey blueness. I have two boxes of jewels, one for the real and one for costume. These defintily need to be put in a third box. I dont dare tell my hubby how disapointed I am, but I sure will tell your's so he dont bring them home to you! December 27, 2011
