Ladies' Citizen Eco-Drive" World Time A-T Watch with Mother-of-Pearl Dial (Model: FC0000-59D)
I bought this watch because I needed a watch with a second hand for nursing classes. What caught my eyes were the beautiful touches of bright blue they added to the second hand and other small places.
I ordered this watch online because I was unsure if I lived near a store. I received free shipping it should have arrived in 3-4 business days, however it took 3 business days for processing to go through. "Shipping" wouldn't ship to me though because I had a passcode entry on the apartment building so I had to pick it up at a nearby location so I received it one day sooner. Ordered it Thursday/Friday, got it on a Wednesday. All in all, good. (The packaging was huge for this tiny thing).
The container to my Citizen watch was green, and they included an instruction manual and a receipt and that was it. There is quite a bit to this watch and the instruction manual was TERRIBLE, not did it not have any instructions for MY watch or anything like it but it was wrinkled and ripped and used-looking. I called the watch maker for help but the lady missed a crucial step and the instructions she gave me broke it. The day of the week wouldn't display and the secondary time zone wouldn't "zero" out. I ended up finding a Zales store, returning the watch for a new one which was already set and everything now it works amazing. The watch container for the one I got in store was grey, there was a warranty book, instruction manual, quick start guide, claim card, a pamphlet that told me how eco-drive works. I am under the impression that what I got from the online warehouse was used/refurbished and didn't have the right manual for it either (the new manual included pictures of my specific watch).
This watch seems to be quite sturdy. I know it will go with whatever I wear because the blue although stands out, it's not enough to clash. I LOVE that the hands glow, I enjoy the day of the week and date being on there. I live in an underground brick building so I don't get the radio signal for the watch and it doesn't seem to make it work any less well which was awesome to know.
I think the ONLY thing that makes me sad about this watch is that it doesn't tick, so at night when I sleep on my arm I can't hear it working. I love the sound of clocks ticking.
If you are looking for a watch that works and looks great doing it, sturdy and should last quite a while, this is a great watch.
